Pupils in P5, P6 & P7 went to Armagh Museum to learn about civilian life during the war. They made their own gas masks. This was followed up by a visit to the classroom by Ivor and Dessie from Friends of the Somme History Group, who taught the children more about the military during that time. Mrs Abernethy came in to share her stories from the war involving her great grandfather. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed this topic.
