Today the P6 & P7 pupils were delighted to welcome Mr Johnston from Cookstown High School, who led the pupils in a fun and hands-on engineering workshop, using their teamwork and problem solving skills. The project was funded by the Cookstown Enterprise Centre and certainly sparked curiosity and engagement in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). The pupils enjoyed the paper strength and straw tower challenges, teaching them the basic engineering principles. An excellent and worthwhile workshop!
