P3 and P4 learned about the "Journey of Bread" as part of their topic work. We learned how wheat seeds grow, are harvested and milled to make flour. Then we learned how bread is made from the flour. We had a go at making our own crusty loaf and we churned our own fresh butter to go with it. It was great fun and tasty too!
